Stainless Steel System
Features a new stainless steel construction with computer linked control gates and switch gates. The combination Stun/Bleed module (for the SI-7C "Combo") is hygenic, easy to clean and maintenance friendly with raise up channels and easy dismount units.
Stun/Bleed Combination Module
This module is hinged at the front allowing for easy inspection, maintenance and cleaning. It is also designed to guide the fish optimally into the SI-7C "Combo" machines while collecting blood water. The module can be delivered in Stainless Steel, HDPE Plastic, or composite material.
Machine Operation Software
An winodws based PC (several options available, including touch) is provided with on-board software pre-installed. This installation can also be completed on a resident PC, panel PC or notebook PC as requested. All machines are set up by SI at the time of installation with operational settings optimized for the environment. The are multiple software control levels allowing different access privilages to operational controls.
Camera and Monitoring Services
When combined with an IP camera that provides a system overview, operational software provides the opportunity to supervise and manage the complete system from the operation of the control gates to the activation of machines to clear jammed fish. This feature provides the opportunity to significantly reduce the physical labour required for general supervision and corrective action at the system.
In the last few years many enhancements have been made based upon information gathered from older systems.
- Mk2 Control Gates: These are highly effective in preventing blockage of fish in the system as well as maintaining good self regulating fish flow.
- Retracting Trigger: A strainless steel contact plate which is held firm until the stun/bleed action has taken place, it then drops in unison with the ramp to allow unimpaired passage of fish through the machine.
- V-Ramps: These are built in a 3mm stainless steel design shaped on that of a V. This in effect, centalizes the position of the fish when entering the machines to ensure a superior cut over a wider range of fish sizes.
- Gold Cut: A combination of a multisided blade with 14 cutting edges on 3 sides. The greater depth of the cut as well as an increased number of cuts to the gills causes more efficient and a quicker bleedout of the fish.
